I’m an inveterate slasher/shipper and I still feel people are often missing the beauty of true love, platonic true love, when they trample over it on the way to slash a pairing or they infantilize it as a ‘bromance’. Go ahead and slash away but sometimes it’s good to just sit back and admire how wonderful and deep and affecting a love is that thrives only in the way that souls and minds mesh, in shared experience and simple loyalty, without romance or sex or anything else that comes from those aspects of how we relate.

Repeating so no one misses it, it’s important:
